How to enable communication between a Rockwell ControlLogix PLC which uses EtherNet/IP and a Modbus-TCP-device (the example uses a Schneider Altivar 320 drive) .
In this demo, we will show how to enable communication between EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP.
In the scenario we are using, we have connected a Schneider Altivar320 drive which uses Modbus-TCP to the bottom side of the Linking device. On the front side, I am connected to a Rockwell Control Logix L71.
The neat thing about this linking device is that everything is handled from inside my familiar Logix Designer environment. The only thing I need to do is to download the Add-on profile for the product.
