Cars of steel: ABB press cell automation with StampPack

Indikar engineers and manufactures armoured vehicles as well as ready-to-fit armouring kits to the very highest standards. They are a certified manufacturer of armoured vehicles made to meet the highest non-military ballistic standards. Last year, Indikar invested in the press hardening technological center. A new hall was built with new machinery, especially for the production of thick metal sheets for armor assemblies. AED Automation, an ABB partner for over 20 years, developed and implemented a complete press automation for Indikar. This includes the StampPack from ABB, a handling system for the hot plates, as well as the protection and safety devices around the press.
