Guard for circular saw on swing arm with automatic raising/lowering.
The CX guard can be fitted to any type of table circular saw, whether equipped with a scoring blade or a postforming device. It consists of a hood covering the blade unit, a swing arm, a support and a fixing to the machine frame.
During cutting, the hood is lifted automatically by the load rollers, due to the pressure exerted by the workpiece. At the end of the cut it lowers back onto the table. The left side, made of transparent material, allows the operator to see the blade and the workpiece being machined.
The 100 mm nozzle, to be connected to the extraction system, has been designed to ensure maximum efficiency when the hood is fully pressed onto the workpiece to be sawn. For making bevel cuts, the right side can easily be replaced with a wider one.
Two end-of-pass push sticks are supplied as standard for carrying out certain different types of cut.
