Build plans let you define and enforce standard manufacturing processes. FactoryTalk Production lets you create build plans for line-based and stick-built assembly. Here, we’re building a line-based assembly plan using a macro that guides us through each step.
First, we define a name, version, and description, the part this build plan is for, a lot and unit name generator and the lines that will use this build plan. We specify to enforce this route at the beginning and end of the process. Second, we step through the work centers and attach workflows to each. Third, we review the build plan summary and confirm all workflows are assigned and configuration is correct. Fourth, we approve and activate. The BoM, workflows and work centers are linked and our process is defined. http://rockwell.lookbookhq.com/ftp-ebook
