We visited Mecamesures in Toulouse, France, to see how they boosted their productivity using GLOBAL CMMs and PC-DMIS software to inspect aerospace parts. We met Michel Haddad, the company’s CEO, and Dominique Restoux, a metrologist, to discuss their 30+ years relationship with Hexagon, built upon responsive and reliable aftermarket service and machine performance. A retrofitted CMM, and two newer machines using the same metrology software, work in parallel to allow faster inspection during operation and ensure the quality standards expected in manufacturing many different parts and prototypes – even small series – for the highly demanding aerospace industry.
