Stability of heavy machinery: machine feet with hollow screw

With the new machine feet with hollow screw, norelem expands its product range with a high-performance solution for large machines and large installations, robots and automation. Whether as a complete system or as individual components, these individually combinable elements are very attractive thanks to their high resistance to mechanical load and their flexibility.

Machine feet are used in particular to stabilise machines and optimise their position. They compensate for uneven floors, absorb vibrations and distribute the load evenly, which ensures reliable machine stability and reduces noise and vibration. They also improve working conditions and, over the long term, help protect the floor and the machine, thereby extending its service life.

Safe, stable, precise
norelem is expanding its product range with a new series of very robust machine feet with hollow screw, designed for large machines and large installations, particularly in robotics and automation. This new series comprises four product families:

• Adjustable feet with hollow screw
• Hollow screws for adjustable feet in steel, 85, 95 and 170 mm in length (galvanised or black phosphated)
• Plates for adjustable feet in steel, 100, 120 and 150 mm in diameter (painted yellow or black phosphated)
• Hexagonal nuts type DIN 934

The hollow screw allows firm anchoring in the floor, which is ideal for dynamic loads. The fine thread allows extremely precise levelling, even on uneven surfaces or on inclined planes of up to 3°. The high load capacity, up to 60 kN (M24x2) or 90 kN (M36x2), makes these machine feet particularly suitable for heavy installations.

Easy adaptation to customer specifications
Customers can purchase the machine foot as a complete unit or as individual parts, namely a plate, a hollow screw with hexagon socket and a matching nut. The plate and the screw are not firmly fixed to each other, which offers more flexibility for installation.
