Description
Air Liquide Welding has developed a range of high-performance tools that combine the fundamental features of MIG/MAG welding torches with efficient suction via a fixed hood.
Capturing welding fumes at the source ensures a healthy environment for the welder and compliance with regulations and labour codes. This capture is achieved through a high suction flow rate under low pressure loss, thanks to an in-depth aeraulic study of the torches. This range of WST (Welding Suction Torch) torches also meets the requirements of standard EN 60974-7.
WST welding torches have been designed with particular care for ergonomics. Lightness, flexibility, manoeuvrability and grip will satisfy the most demanding professionals. The range consists of 5 air-cooled torches with a power rating from 150A to 400A and 3 water-cooled torches from 300A to 500A.
As the volume of extracted air is low, these torches require no additional installation for air compensation or heating. They are connected either to standalone suction units or to a centralised high-vacuum network.
Attached to the welder's arm, the suction is effective in all circumstances and improves productivity. By combining the torch with suitable welding booms, the torch is brought to the welder, providing fatigue-free work in a healthy environment.
Advantages:
One-piece insulating nozzles and active torch parts designed for longer wear part life and enhanced insulation.
Insulated torch lances that prevent short circuits in case of misuse.
A metal rotating ring at the handles, smoother and offering better air flow.
Water-cooled torches are fitted with a combined water/power cable offering weight savings, greater flexibility and more efficient cooling.
Optional high-strength fire-resistant, spatter-resistant and cut-resistant sheath
