The DVI Prime digital viscometer offers all the features of the DV-E model, plus additional functions:
* RS-232 interface for PC (Wingather software optional).
* Sealed touch keypad.
* Analogue output for chart recorder.
* Stop mode programmable at a given time or speed.
* Optional: temperature probe.
The viscosity measurement principle adopted by Brookfield consists of applying a movement force to a product by rotating a spindle of fixed size at a fixed speed. The product's resistance to the spindle's rotational movement is recorded using an internal spiral spring, then converted into viscometric units.
