Description
The IMPCO Idle Limiter (IIL) timed engine shutdown system has been developed for internal combustion engine forklift trucks and automatically shuts down the truck after a predetermined period.
The microprocessor-based control system is designed to help you save on fuel costs.
It is also a very important health and safety device as it will automatically shut down trucks that have been left running unattended.
The IIL does this by shutting down the truck after a preselected period if the seat is unoccupied or if the truck has exceeded the selected idle time.
Features:
Improve site safety
Save on fuel costs
Protect against excessive engine wear
Reduce engine hours
Reduce rental costs
On the excessive idle shutdown relay, the IIL allows you to set two parameters: the seat switch if the truck is equipped with one, and/or an RPM signal that can be found on the negative side of the ignition coil on an LPG truck and on the "W" terminal on a diesel engine.
The system can operate with both options enabled or with just one of them. When both inputs are enabled, the first event to occur triggers the timer.
The shutdown time is adjustable and can be set between 30 seconds and 5 minutes in one-minute steps.
There is a 12 model and a 24V model, and both versions are supplied as a professional kit with the complete installation instructions and everything needed to install the system.
