Ecoclean: Experts in Parts Cleaning and Surface Treatment

Performing every parts cleaning task in a technically and economically optimal way
Parts cleaning has become a quality-critical manufacturing step in all industrial sectors. Companies must therefore make considerable efforts to meet increasingly demanding specifications for particulate and film cleanliness. Ecoclean is responding to this demand with several new developments. At the Global Industrie trade show in Paris, one of the products presented by the company (booth 6R36) is the EcoCwave, a versatile machine designed for difficult aqueous cleaning tasks.
Growing requirements for parts cleanliness, new manufacturing technologies, modified processes and/or materials, smaller batches down to single-piece batch size, regulatory changes, digital transformation and stricter objectives for energy efficiency and climate protection all have an impact on parts cleaning. Ecoclean and UCM, the division of the SBS Ecoclean Group specializing in high-precision cleaning, are experts in parts cleaning and surface treatment. Their response to these changes is to offer optimally adapted solutions and innovative developments that complement their wide range of standard and special solutions for the cleaning of batches and individual parts. Deburring and cleaning in a single step, efficient removal of chemical film contamination, selective in-line treatment of functional surfaces and cleaning solutions for additively manufactured parts are just a few examples. With customized processes and cleaning equipment tailored to the task at hand, Ecoclean also meets the demands of specific industrial sectors, such as electromobility, medical engineering, aerospace and high tech, as well as high-purity sectors.
At this year's Global Industrie trade show in Paris, the company will present, among other things, the EcoCwave, a forward-looking water-based cleaning system. Designed for immersion and spray processes, the system features a vacuum-tight working chamber and is capable of performing all types of cleaning, from pre-cleaning and intermediate cleaning to precision cleaning. To this end, the versatile system is equipped as standard with two or three vertically arranged tanks designed for optimal flow conditions. This prevents the accumulation of chips and dirt. Each tank has a separate washing solution circuit with full-flow and bypass filtration. The design of the turning unit integrated into the working chamber also ensures that all sides of the part to be cleaned are fully exposed to the washing solution, for example during ultrasonic or spray cleaning. The result is not only better cleaning performance, but also a longer bath service life and, consequently, lower costs.
In addition to presenting new products, the staff on the booth will inform visitors about forward-looking service solutions. These include a service app compatible with iOS and Android for maintenance and repair needs, tailored service and maintenance concepts, developments concerning the digitalization of cleaning processes, options for modernizing and adapting systems, and training programs for customers' employees.
