Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced the launch of Ne-Hon TM 6, the first high visibility (HV) combination with certified chemical protection. By guaranteeing the safety and high visibility of workers at all times and during particularly dirty activities in high-risk environments, this new combination is perfectly suited to people working in the railway, aeronautics, construction, Oil and gas.
"Ne-Hon 6 is the innovative answer to a global challenge submitted to us by a major national rail operator. It combines chemical protection and high visibility class 3 in accordance with EU standards, "said David Guiho, product manager at Honeywell Industrial Safety for the EMEA region. "The result of an extensive research and development program, the Ne-Hon 6 suit is designed to be worn over or in replacement of ordinary high visibility garments to protect them from soiling. It allows workers to undertake difficult activities while ensuring their safety and considerably reducing cleaning costs. The combination can be easily removed and thrown at the end of a working day, and thanks to its small footprint, it can easily be taken at any time so that it is ready for use in an unexpected situation. "
For workers exposed to chemical hazards, Ne-Hon 6 is also resistant to chemicals according to EN 13034: 2009 (cabin test type 6). The combination is both durable and comfortable thanks to its lightweight, breathable and water repellent fabric. It is available in different sizes from S to XXXL.
Its high visibility is EN20471 class 3 certified thanks to the use of a 100% polyester material with reflective stripes. Other features that ensure optimum comfort include elastic waistband at the back, raglan sleeves for incredible freedom of movement, and a diamond-shaped crotch gusset.
In addition to elastics on the wrists and ankles, the suit also features thumb loops to prevent the sleeves from rising to the elbows and reinforcements on the knees which increase the life of the garment.
