Emerson Industrial Automation is preparing to launch a complete new range of motors and drives for the industrial refrigeration market. These new units have been designed for applications involving fans, pumps or compressors, and are the result of an in-depth study of refrigeration manufacturers. Emerson Industrial Automation will introduce its new range of Powerdrive F300 variable speed drives, specially designed for fan, pump and compressor applications. Perfectly suited for cabinet integration, Powerdrive F300 allows control of permanent magnet motors without a sensor. This inverter has an on-board PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and is available in capacities ranging from 1.1 kW to 2.8 MW.
The Powerdrive F300 range complements the Powerdrive MD2 line of high-power IP54 drives ready for use and will be introduced on the French market under the Leroy-Somer brand.
Powerdrive MD2M is also one of the new solutions introduced by Emerson Industrial Automation at Chillventa. Powerdrive MD2M is a wall-mounted drive with the same features as the Powerdrive MD2 in conjunction with a permanent magnet motor without a sensor.
The Powerdrive F300 and MD2M drives are perfectly suited for the following two Leroy-Somer engine ranges: Dyneo® permanent magnet synchronous motors, Super Premium, LSRPM (IP55) and PLSRPM (IP23), which exceed the requirements of The IE4 class, as well as the new IMfinity range of asynchronous motors (IE2 and IE3) with high and very high efficiency.
