Accurately machining near net components, such as castings or printed parts, can be challenging and time consuming, due to form and part-to-part variation.
The Adaptive Cut Toolkit with SPRINT™ technology can rapidly scan the true form of a part, automatically generate a new cutting toolpath that matches the real shape, and instantly upload it to the machine.
This technique can be applied to applications such as edge breaking, deburring, chamfering and copy cutting (e.g. for mating parts).
