Totally autonomous inspection: WRTL for Absolute Tracker

InfoMediaPublishing

Tuesday, May 3, 2022Description :
The WRTL – Wireless Real-Time Link – is a new system for adding wireless measurement data transfer capability to an integrated automated inspection system based on the Absolute Tracker and a robot-mounted Absolute Scanner AS1. This means there is no longer a need for a cable directly connecting the tracker to the scanner controller, which opens up new possibilities for autonomous measurement. One or both of the tracker and scanner can now be mounted on an AGV or AMR, allowing for complete freedom of measurement across extended measurement volumes. Such a system is ideal for the large-scale scanning inspection tasks now increasingly demanded by applications in areas such as aerospace and wind energy. ? https://hxgn.biz/3klnGP7
