Description
This new model sits at the top of the range for machining large workpieces. As with the entire TREVISAN range, it allows not only a series of operations such as turning and milling to be carried out, but also complete machining with a single workpiece clamping.
The boring mill DS1800/450C, while respecting tolerance dimensions and considerably reducing production times for large workpieces by eliminating workpiece setup times, enables boring of bores up to 3000mm.
Furthermore, given the importance of drilling and milling certain workpieces on the external side of the turning operation, the DS1800/460C model incorporates a milling/drilling unit with a 560x490mm RAM mounted on a second Y axis, with a travel of 4000 mm.
