Air Liquide Welding has developed a range of powerful tools that combine the basic characteristics of MIG / MAG welding torches and an efficient vacuum with fixed sensor.
The capture of welding fumes at source is the assurance of a healthy environment for the welder and compliance with regulations and the labor code. This capture is achieved by a high suction flow rate under a low pressure drop due to a thorough aeraulic study of the torches. This WST (Welding Suction Torch) range also meets the requirements of EN 60974-7.
WST welding torches have been given special care in terms of ergonomics. Lightness, flexibility, maneuverability and handling will satisfy the most demanding professionals. The range consists of 5 air-cooled torches with power ranging from 150A to 400A and 3 water-cooled torches from 300A to 500A. They are available in several lengths between 3M and 5M.
Since the volume of extract air is low, these torches do not require any complementary air compensation and reheating installation. They are connected either to autonomous suction units or to a high vacuum centralized network.
Being linked to the arm of the welder, the aspiration is efficient in all circumstances and brings an improvement of the productivity. By combining the torch with suitable welding jigs, the torch is brought to the welder, thus providing fatigue-free work in a healthy environment.
