Five new Reis robots from Reis France
Tuesday, February 5, 2008Description :
Robots designed for universal applications and carrying loads up to 26 kg.

The compact and attractive line of the 5 newly developed and optimized robots augurs for their intrinsic qualities. These machines equipped with more powerful drives, but of reduced proportions, deliver optimal accelerations and speeds.

Their rigid construction gives them a very strong dynamic when executing trajectories. In-house comparative tests demonstrate the performance of this new generation: the measurements reveal a significant improvement in cycle time (up to 25%) for various applications.

The working envelope of the 3 main axes has been enlarged. For example, the working area of ??axis 1 has been increased to 360 °. The low base of the new robots and the axis 2 designed to go lower down, allow the arm to dive into the machining machine, plastic injection machine or press.

These robots are also differentiated by a more precise staggering of the maximum load on the wrist. The designation of the models reveals: RV10-6, RV20-6, RV20-16, RV30-16, RV30-26. The initials RV mean that this is a vertical arm robot. The figures "30-26" indicate the size and permissible load (classification 30 with maximum load 26 kg).

This new range is designed for universal applications. The high repeatability of +0.05 mm of the smallest models or +0.08 mm of the largest models allows them to be used for tasks requiring high precision, such as TIG welding or seal removal. A load of up to 20 kg for mounting special devices can be added to the robot arm without affecting its speed and accuracy.

All parts of our models meet the IP65 degree of protection. It ensures better sealing against dust and water and allows them to be used even in extreme conditions, such as foundries.

The new Reis robots benefit from the secure ROBOTstarV-PCX command. Movements in point-to-point mode, in linear, circular and Spline interpolations can be executed. It includes multiple features including user-friendly online programming. The RobAssist user interface allows the operator to choose the most important instructions via clear pictograms. This ensures simple and quick handling and programming.

The famous designer Stefan Lengyel participated in the development of this new line of robots.
