Mechanical and electrical components such as chassis, process units, process modules, logistics modules and software modules are modular and interchangeable. The system is also suitable for hybrid concepts, with manual, semi- and fully automatic cells.
Complex process modules also include individual, interchangeable, reusable units. Even the specific work units are mounted with standard interfaces, which makes it easy to change them.
An additional step was taken by the designers of Boudry (Switzerland) who developed the G05 ™ Palletizer and G05 ™ Polyfeed power systems as well as the G05 ™ Assembly Center. It is now possible to adapt different standard Pick & Place units, feeders and / or 4-axis Cartesian robots (X, Y, Z and R) to the same chassis. The high standardization of the Palletizer and Polyfeed feed systems thus increases the flexibility and availability of the G05 ™ mounting systems.
The G05 ™ product line is expanding with the arrival of the new G05 ™ Assembly Center assembly systems, developed on the basis of Polyfeed power systems with a Cartesian robot. Equipped with their own control unit including a control terminal, they fulfill all the criteria of an assembly cell, including the control of the peripherals.
Thanks to their identical control architecture and standardized interfaces, the G05 Assembly Center systems fit seamlessly into the linear G05 ™ assembly lines. As stand-alone assembly cells, they can be combined to form flexible lines or complement existing high-performance cells.
