This is a particularly robust solution that benefits from a reinforcement of its segments which gives it additional robustness. This cable-carrying chain resists extreme stresses while being exceptionally flexible and rotating (up to 20 times on its own axis). The HD twisterband is thus optimized for temperatures below 0 ° Celsius and is therefore suitable for outdoor applications. Compact structure to protect cables in the smallest spaces

This cable chain offers great robustness while requiring very little space. The outside diameter of this novelty is just 300 millimeters, its height starts at 250 millimeters and varies upwards depending on the required angle of rotation. Its structure also allows extreme angles of rotation, ranging up to 7,000 degrees approximately horizontally and about 3,000 degrees vertically. The ease with which it rotates nevertheless does not prevent it from protecting the cables optimally.

The tests performed in the igus laboratory with chainflex cables have reached a lifetime of one million cycles or more. The predefined minimum bending radius, which prevents cables from bending, contributes in particular to this. The HD twisterband allows fast filling from the outside. Thanks to the tribo-optimized high performance polymer the belt guarantees a long service life, even under difficult conditions such as temperatures between -40 ° C and +80 ° C.
