Robotrax cable holders are specially designed for use with industrial robots, they are made of plastic links provided on both sides with ratchet spherical fasteners. Internal stops prevent any crossing of the minimum threshold of radius of curvature in all directions.
Robotrax has a hole in the center of each link allowing the passage of a steel cable which ensures the transmission of the forces and allows the cable holder to withstand without damage accelerations of 10 g and more. This cable has on one side a cable clamp for secure fixing and at the other end a tensioner allowing adjustment and easy and reliable tensioning.
The open assembly of the Robotrax allows a quick installation of the cables by simple insertion in the duct, which avoids the tedious threading of a conventional system. This function facilitates the control of the cables, their possible replacement is simple and the costs of assembly and maintenance are reduced. The cables are also separated and protected in three distinct compartments.
