Thanks to proprietary Micor technology, Lorch's MicorMIG system combines optimum welding characteristics with practical benefits such as arc dynamics regulator and final crater filling. MicorMIG is very practical, thanks to a simple control, to the up-to-date updating concept and to the new MF-08 complete protection box.
With the new MicorMIG series, Lorch is expanding its range of robust MIG-MAG installations based on reversing technology. For the first time, Micor's innovative and patented inverter technology is implemented in the vast field of MIG-MAG.
The MicorMIG series combines the excellent welding characteristics of 100% resonant Micor technology with a new kind of control concept, easy welding process improvement, welding programs and additional functions. The continuously adjustable installation with a compact and robust body can be used in a wide range of applications - from small businesses to industrial applications.
Lorch's patented Micor technology provides an extremely stable and efficient arc with excellent welding characteristics on steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Thanks to its innovative inverter technology, MicorMIG offers extremely high energy efficiency, reduced power consumption and greater resistance to current variations compared to traditional transformer installations. The possibility of activating the final crater filling function (available in series) reduces the welding current in a targeted manner, so that the melting bath can cool slowly and the final crater fills with a small amount of material energy.
The stepless dynamics regulator ensures an optimum weld seam. It regulates the characteristics of the arc, from flexible to rigid, and therefore totally adapts to the welding task and the personal preferences of the welder.
The new user surface is the core of the new MicorMIG series from the Auenwald company. In the future, it will also be used in other Lorch welding plants. Depending on its needs and requirements, the user can choose between three different levels - Basic, BasicPlus and ControlPro.
For the installation certified to EN 1090 (from BasicPlus), Lorch has developed a future-oriented upgrade concept - both at the software level (functions and processes that increase productivity or simplify work can easily , Can be installed later), as well as hardware components: thus, the BasicPlus control panel of MicorMIG can be improved and transformed at any time into ControlPro control panel. This allows the user to participate in technological progress even in the future.
Other features of the reliable universal MIG-MAG system are very practical: in the case, an inspection window shows the level of filling of the wire coil and an RFID transponder allows individual identification of the user, So that each welder has the permissions that have been assigned to him for the adjustment and modifications. In addition, MicorMIG is fully CO2 compatible and also allows welding to the electrode.

Numerous handles and suspension devices make it a handy installation for use on site or in hard-to-reach areas (also suitable for manholes).
