The new OMAX® 5555 water jet machining center is the first waterjet machine at OMAX with a square working stroke.
With a considerable advantage: with a minimum footprint in the workshop, this machining center is compact and does not require a high ceiling for installation.
The OMAX® 5555 is equipped with:
- An Intelli-Max (Layout & Make) software developed and patented by Omax running Windows XP, very easy to use and which allows inexperienced
Very quickly obtain coins with the desired surface finish
- A vertical Z axis motorized with 203 mm of travel, designed for maximum accuracy and repeatability
- A precision cutting table thanks to a system of XY axes in rigid connection with the support of the part to be cut and a monobloc design of the chassis, which ensures a perfect alignment precision and a protection of the assembly Components against water, abrasive, dust.
- An abrasive cutting head including high pressure plumbing
- A pump with direct drive and variable speed with opening / closing valve of the cutting circuit (pump independent of the cutting table to avoid any vibration of the axes). This system offers a saving of 20 to 30% compared to the pumps with intensifier.
- The OMAX technology guarantee, which includes the free provision of Layout and Make software updates for the entire lifetime of the machine
- An automatic abrasive distribution tank of 270 kg.
