Reis Robotics presents its new range of polyarticulate robots, from Reis France
Friday, August 8, 2008Description :
With the launch of its new range of polyarticulated robots with loads of 16 to 130 kg, REIS ROBOTICS demonstrates once again its involvement in robotics.

Equipped with more powerful drives, but of reduced proportions, these polyarticulated robots deliver optimal accelerations and speeds. Their rigid construction gives them a very strong dynamic when executing trajectories. In-house comparative tests have confirmed the potential they offer in new applications.

Moreover, they bring significant improvements thanks to their greater and well adapted workload. The working envelope of the 3 main axes has been extended. All these polyarticulated robots have a circular working area thanks to the rotation of the axis 1 through 360 °.

Their low base and axis 2 designed to go lower down, allow the arm to dive into the machine of machining, plastic injection or molding. Until now, special arrangements in "shelves" were used for this type of applications.

These robots are also differentiated by a more precise staggering of the maximum load on the wrist. The designation of the models reveals: RV60-16, RV60-26, RV60-40, RV60-60, RV130-40, RV130-60, RV130-90 and RV130-130. The initials RV mean that this is a vertical arm robot. The numbers "60-40" indicate the size and permissible load (60 series with maximum load 40 kg).

In addition to these performances, this range of polyarticulate robots is equipped with systems to easily adapt specific tools and equipment. Additional loads for mounting special devices can be added to the robot arm or to the base shaft without affecting its speed and accuracy.

All electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic requirements are covered by standardized power supply systems, integrated in the wiring of the main axes. Each device and each tooling can be powered via standard plug-in interfaces.

All parts of our models meet the IP65 degree of protection. This ensures a very high tightness to dust and liquids and allows their use even in the most severe conditions, such as smelters.

As with all Reis robots, this new range benefits from the secure ROBOTstarV-IPC command: movements in point-to-point mode, in linear, circular and Spline interpolations can thus be executed. It includes multiple functions including a ProVis visualization system integrated in the control panel and user-friendly offline programming using RobOffice software.

The RobAssist interface allows the operator to choose the most important instructions via clear pictograms. This ensures easy and fast use and programming of all Reis robots.
