Welding quality management is increasingly important for the construction industry, as from July 2014 all steel and aluminum construction products will have to bear the CE mark in accordance with the Products (RPC).
This should change the day-to-day life of workshops manufacturing construction products, as they will require EN 1090-2 certification that all welding activities have been carried out in accordance with EN ISO 3834, which defines quality criteria For the fusion welding of metallic materials.
A complete solution for workshop and on-site work
To meet the requirements of EN 1090-2, Kemppi offers standardized welding procedures for on-site and on-site use. Two offers of standardized welding procedures are available, one for MIG / MAG welding and the other for MMA welding. Kemppi is the first welding manufacturer in the world to introduce welding procedures for the demanding and ever-changing environments of construction sites where clear and simple instructions are an absolute necessity.
Purchasers of an offer of standardized welding procedures will be able to access the Kemppi WPS Service site where they will be able to register and manage their DMOS or WPS documentation and their QMOS qualification reports. The welding procedure offers consists of a folder containing the printed DMOS or "WPS" documents and a USB key with all the information necessary to connect to the Kemppi WPS Service.
Welding procedures and Kemppi's WPS service will be available in several languages, starting with English, Finnish, Swedish and German.
Standard procedures for MIG / MAG welding in the workshop
If you have (or plan to do) the acquisition of a FastMig Pulse or FastMig X 450 welding machine, you can purchase a Kemppi package, including 16 standard welding procedures that also cover pulsed welding. These operating procedures in accordance with EN ISO 15612 can be used for steels belonging to strength classes up to 355 MPA for manual welding of structures of execution class EXC1 or EXC2.
Always compatible procedures for on-site MMA welding
Kemppi's offer of operating instructions for MMA welding is designed to meet the needs expressed by customers. In a readily understandable format, it contains all necessary welding procedure descriptions, compatible with all brands of MMA welding machines. If the impact resistance criteria are less than 12 mm, our procedures for MMA welding can be used with filler materials classified as EN ISO 2560-A E 42 4 B 42 H5. And they can even be used for thicknesses greater than 12 mm. We conducted shock-resistance tests for three different electrodes: Esab OK 48.00, Böhler FOX EV 50 and Elga P48 S.
ArcQuality welding quality management system for execution classes EXC 3 and EXC 4
The ArcQuality welding quality management system is based on the criteria defined by EN ISO 3834 on welding quality management, which is the centerpiece of high-quality manufacturing. ArcQuality can be used for structural welding in execution classes EXC 3 and EXC 4.
