Description
The DS300/70C machining centre combines the advantages of fixed machining with those of rotary-frame machining.
The head is equipped with 2 axes: a standard milling axis for drilling, tapping and milling applications, and a U-axis – turning device.
The radial movement of the U-axis enables all types of turning operations, spherical or conical turning, as well as boring and threading operations, using standard tools.
Turning operations can be carried out with all the functions of a standard lathe, including constant surface speed control. This robustly built machine is equipped with an excellent chip evacuation system.
All internal components of the head are continuously lubricated by a progressive lubrication system.
