Fenwick Launches Dynamic Mast Control System for Retractable Truck
Saturday, June 20, 2015Description :
This system automatically reduces the movements and oscillations of the mat at high height, for greater safety and stability in all load handling steps and storage operations

On a traditional trolley with the mast fully extended, the oscillations (or rod effect) generated during lifting movements are accentuated with a load on the forks. During these operations, the operator must first wait for the load to stabilize before positioning the pallet precisely in the rack. In some cases, it may even damage the rack or be placed too far back with a bad alignment on the rack. At these high heights, this non-uniform positioning of the pallets in the shelving makes it more complicated for the operator to recover the goods.

The new innovative FENWICK "DYNAMIC CONTROL OF MAT" system or DMC provides real assistance to piloting on the reach trucks, it is less stress and more efficient for the operators in the service of a secure environment. The key to the system lies in the extension and retraction of the cradle that supports the mast.

Associated with sensors of weight, height and inclination, the DMC Fenwick compensates in real time the oscillations of the mast from 7 meters by accompanying the maneuvers of the operator in total transparency. The operator using a Fenwick retractable truck equipped with the DMC does not therefore suffer the waiting times associated with the mast swings and can handle the load more quickly, uniformly and more safely.

This unique device is now available on the Fenwick R14 - R20 range of forklift trucks.
