Manufacturers are invited to test new measurement solutions at the industrial subcontracting fair in Paris.
Hexagon Metrology announces its participation in the MIDEST 2015 industrial subcontracting exhibition, where the company plans to exhibit its latest manufacturing technologies, including the newest TubeShaper tube measurement software.
The MIDEST, an international platform bringing together customers and subcontractors to foster the development of new partnerships and smarter workplaces, will be held from 17 to 20 November at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. Manufacturing and the supply chain around the world. In parallel with MIDEST, Tolexpo 2015 is the main event in France in the field of metallurgical production technologies.
TubeShaper is an integral part of the Hexagon Metrology tube inspection system, a turnkey solution for pipe inspection applications. Exploiting the versatile measurement capabilities of the ROMER Absolute Arm portable three-dimensional measuring machine (CMM) and developed in close collaboration with leading tube manufacturers worldwide, the software is a modular system that meets the needs of engineers, Quality managers and operators in the workshops. The tube inspection system will be exposed to MIDEST in the midst of the latest extensions in Hexagon Metrology's range of portable 3D scanning solutions: the ROMER Absolute Arm with integrated laser scanner and the HP-L-8.9 external laser scanner.
Other demonstrations on the Hexagon Metrology booth will include the Leica Absolute Tracker AT402 ultra-portable laser tracker. Visitors will be able to see the system in operation with the Leica B-Probe handheld probe, providing a complete probing solution for large-scale measurement applications. They will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Optiv Performance 443 Dual Z multi-sensor CMM, which features two Z-axes for better access to parts and optimal use of multiple sensors.
"MIDEST is a leading international exhibition for manufacturing professionals," said Daniel Jullien, Managing Director of Hexagon Metrology France. "With more than 40,000 visitors expected, I am confident that we will see many strategic partnerships. We are pleased to meet with clients and industry leaders to discuss their needs and projects. "
