HIKVISION completes its DarkFighter range, CCTV cameras adapted to very low light conditions, with its new DS-2DF8223I-AEL PTZ network camera. This state-of-the-art camera uses a high-performance HIKVISION lens designed to capture color and monochrome images even in very low light conditions. The resulting color image is of exceptional quality, unlike monochrome IP cameras and competing low-light cameras.

The integration of EIA (Electronic Image Stabilization), WDR 120dB and a plethora of intelligent sensing technologies improves image quality and ease of use. This camera of excellence has already been recognized at IFSEC which nominated him as the finalist at the "CCTV Camera of the Year" award.
The DarkFighter features a progressive scan CMOS sensor that delivers clear, colorful images with only 0.002lux or brightness B / W lux. It also performs extremely well during the day and in extreme conditions thanks to the 120db WDR function and the HIKVISION 3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) technology. Moreover, with the IR function, it is possible to adjust the power of IR lighting in order to obtain better visibility in a dark environment up to 200 meters. The latest addition to the DarkFighter range also features HD video quality of 1920 x 1080 streaming with maximum frame rate.

The camera has a wide range of intelligent detection capabilities to meet the professional market of video surveillance: face detection, intrusion detection, zone crossing and audio. These detection functions guarantee considerable progress in the field of security, especially during events or for the recording of objects in forensic services.
Equipped with the Tracking function, the DarkFighter can detect any moving object (person, car ...) that enters an area and adjust the focal length of its objective to follow the object. Combined with the powerful image correction algorithm, the Defog function improves the visibility and clarity of images even in times of strong fog. As for the EIS - Electronic Image Stabilization technology, this allows the camera to counteract the fuzzy effects caused by the movement of the camera and thus stabilize the images.
With all its combined features, this new camera is placed in the high-end PTZ and IP cameras.

This lens is capable of rotating 360 degrees and offers an inclination of -20 to 90 degrees. Its low-light performance is increased via the IR functionality allowing to go over a distance of 200 meters.
With the 32 presets offered by the DarkFighter combined with the 300 preset positions that can be programmed, this camera allows up to eight surveillance patrols. In addition, the DarkFighter PTZ is capable of scanning up to four models and supports up to 24 monitoring zones.
The latest addition to the DarkFighter range, the DS-2DF8223I-AEL PTZ is fully protected with its sturdy, anti-vandalism IP66 enclosure. This protects the cameras from extreme outdoor day and night environmental conditions: rain, dust, temperatures up to -40 °.
HIKVISION also introduces another member in the DarkFighter PTZ range: the 2MP DS-2DF6223-AEL camera. This offers all the features of its older off-IR functionality.
