Muting function
This new function allows a temporary and safe bridging of the safety device. Mutating is used to enter merchandise into the danger zone or, on the contrary, to exit it. For this purpose, muting sensors are installed to detect the goods. Communication between safety barrier and muting sensors is carried out via a control unit integrated in the SLC / SLG 445 which also supports the monitoring of the correct state of bridging of the safety function.
The numerous transport applications are thus taken into account, such as, for example, Transport belt, palletizing and loading / unloading with handling vehicles. With the pre-configuration of the parameters, solutions are available for variable dimensions of objects, variable transport speeds, material loading with space and unpredictable tape stoppage.
Multi-Scan Function
This new Multi-Scan function increases the availability of the optoelectronic protection device because short-term interferences such as chips, clouds of vapor or insects are obscured. Thus, operating errors are excluded. Other functions are also available, such as clocked mode, fixed or floating masking and contactor control.
Commissioning is facilitated by the integrated adjustment modes, already known on SLC / SLG 440 series, and PC-free parameterization. The robust and compact construction, in a 28x 33 mm profile, allows the installation of these optoelectronic curtains and barriers also in narrow places.
The SLC / SLG 445 series are Type 4 safety optoelectronic devices according to EN 61496-1, which can be used up to PLe according to EN 13849-1 resp. SIL 3 according to EN 62061.
