Designed for logistics and industrial automation, this camera offers exceptional performance: variable object height and reading distance, wide detection ranges, 1D or 2D codes in all directions, high transport speeds ...
With its resolution of 1.7 Mpixels, the LECTOR®642 is able to identify without error a current 1D code whose bars measure 0.35 mm thick, in a detection field of 400 mm of width. Regardless of the type of bar code, Data Matrix, Maxi Code or QR Code, its powerful decoding algorithms can reliably detect and treat low-contrast or partially damaged codes.
Easy integration:
This range of LECTOR®642 code readers integrates serial interfaces, I / O, USB, CAN and Ethernet fieldbus such as TCP / IP, Ethernet / IP or Profinet, including the corresponding function blocks. Other fieldbuses, eg. Profibus, are available as connection modules. During installation, the function keys and the auto-configuration of the code (Auto-Setup) guarantee an optimal setting without delay. In addition, the integrated sight laser facilitates alignment. Optical and acoustic signals help in commissioning and operation. It is thus possible to collect images and reading data, to interpret them and to draw statistics and trends.
Typical areas of use for LECTOR®642 code readers are in intralogistics, around automated sorting processes. In manual handling and sorting processes, the LECTOR®642 also allows semi-automation. In industrial automation, code readers particularly deploy their potential for tire identification or at the end of the line in packaging facilities.
