Miniature photoelectric sensors C23 series
Monday, June 8, 2015Description :
These new miniature photoelectric sensors make it possible to reliably detect objects of different colors or materials, even under difficult conditions.

These sensors are available in barrier, direct-reflective or reflector versions and in the type with background suppression.
All versions with PNP switching of this series of sensors are equipped with IO-Link, thus enabling machine-to-machine communication in the context of the Internet of objects.

The photoelectric sensors of the C23 series are very versatile. They combine a small size (20 mm x 30 mm x 10 mm) with long ranges and reliably detect even fast moving objects.

In addition, Contrinex has developed a special optics ensuring excellent black / white behavior for the version with background suppression. Typical applications include conveyors used in production as well as automated food packaging.

Thanks to the IO-Link interface on the PNP types, these photoelectric sensors are able to communicate remotely with the control center. IO-Link sensors are compatible with all Master IO-Link versions.

As a result, it is possible to perform configuration and state diagnosis centrally. In addition, the IO-Link interface allows the reading of process data as well as the modification of staves or a delay (delay function) or triggering (stretch function) directly on the sensor. In this way, photoelectric sensors become data generators to facilitate digital communication with the control level at no extra cost.

These sensors have the best litters on the market up to 1500 mm for direct reflection types and 300 mm for those with background suppression.

The C23 series is excellent for conveyor applications because it combines reduced size with long spans to reliably detect fast moving parts.
