MSPro14 profilometer for switches and rotating connectors
Monday, March 16, 2015Description :
This new Morgan MSPro14 portable profilometer measures accurately and records the condition of the surfaces of rotating switches and connectors.

This new measuring system is equipped with a solid probe that is easy to assemble, suitable for various types of support and capable of supporting extreme environments, including vibrations. The optimized probe head is easily attached to the rotating, helical groove connectors.

Easy and fast to configure, its rugged casing incorporates a powerful and user-friendly touch screen.

The system has been designed to help identify the cause of problems such as advanced or irregular wear of brushes, broken brushes, frayed threads, sparks under the brushes and deterioration of the system. The results produced indicate the quality of the surface profile, whether the component is to be replaced or not, and whether an additional diagnostic is required to identify the failure. This feature helps reduce downtime and maintenance costs, alerting potential problems before a complete failure occurs.

DASPro14, the MSPro14 software, is extremely user-friendly and intuitive. It offers an integrated editing interface, allowing the computer to carry out an in-depth analysis of the measurements. It supports files from the previous model Morgan profilometer, the MMS6000. The housing has a large memory capacity, which allows to store more measurements than the MMS6000. Using the software, different measurements can be compared on a computer.

The MSPro14 is supplied with a lightweight and durable carrying case, containing all the necessary equipment for accurate and efficient profilometric measurements: DASPro14 analysis software, probe and clamp, sensor sheath, probe spacing system, cable and USB charger, clamp, torch, pen and backup battery. The MSPro14 is compatible with all Windows PCs (including Windows XP) via a USB connection and can display the values ??in imperial or metric measurements.
