These new photoelectric sensors resist detergents and are ideal for harsh environments in processing applications with regular high pressure cleaning cycles found in the food industry
To simplify installation and adjustment, the new E3FC sensors are equipped with cylindrical M18 threaded housings, often used for inductive cells. They are resistant to corrosion and protected by a 316L stainless steel housing. Reinforced at the connector of the cable with epoxy resin, they offer optimal protection against water jets and industrial detergents and thus avoid infiltrations by the connector or the end of the cable.
All these photoelectric sensors have an IP68 / IP69K degree of protection and an operating temperature range of -25 ºC to + 55 ºC. Their lifetime has been demonstrated in tests carried out with several types of detergents and in tests of thermal shocks in water.
Complementing the already extensive range, the new E3FC photoelectric cells are available in complete families of transceivers of barrier type, back reflection, diffuse reflection or with background suppression. They are all equipped with light sources with visible red LEDs facilitating alignment and widening the range of detection.
Designed to operate from 10 to 30 VDC rated power supplies, they can be configured by the user to operate in "light-on" or "dark-on". They also benefit from a fast response time in a compact, user-friendly package.
These numerous advantages ensure a better adaptability to the complex processes of food processing in the agro-food industry.
