TranspaTect optoelectronic barrier for transparent objects
Friday, March 20, 2015Description :
This new optoelectronic barrier eliminates the need for a reflector and uses the background as a reference surface to reliably detect surfaces that are bright, highly reflective or uneven.

The TranspaTect is as easy to install and commission as it is reliable for detecting transparent objects. When mounting, it is no longer necessary to install a reflector and precisely align the sensor: a stable, matte background, for example a machine part, is sufficient to serve as a reference surface on which the sensitivity of the Sensor is memorized very intuitively by Teach-in. The absence of a reflector also constitutes a significant space saving when the machine poses problems of reduced space.

The TranspaTect optoelectronic barrier is extremely insensitive to clogging. In case of dust or product residue on the optics, the sensor automatically adapts its switching threshold with the integrated AutoAdapt function. After cleaning, the initial switching threshold is automatically restored. This makes it possible to lengthen cleaning intervals and minimize machine downtime. Even in case of sudden contamination of the reference background, the TranspaTect guarantees maximum detection and operating safety for optimal machine availability.

This equipment is equipped with a robust die-cast zinc casing certified ECOLAB and has a high resistance to detergents and disinfectants. The TranspaTect barrier is suitable for use in the agro-food or pharmaceutical industry.
