This robot range from 5 to 500 kg, specific to the food industry, is coated with a special bi-component paint that resists detergents and has an IP65 protection rating throughout mechanical.

Thanks to the experience gained in robots with a hard life, whether in foundry, forge or even plastic, this time KUKA Roboter meets the requirements of the food industry with specific and adapted products.

These robots, coated with a special bi-component paint resistant to detergents, are equipped with an IP65 protection rating on the whole mechanics, an overpressure arm and an IP67 wrist to prevent any infiltration Of particles. The fittings, screws and flange of axis 6 are made of stainless steel.

The energy supply ducts are smooth and overmolded. Covers have been provided to remove any retention areas. Finally, the oils and greases used are compatible with food. Everything has been planned to prevent food contamination!

8 robot models cover loads ranging from 5 kg to 500 kg through 16, 30, 60, 150, 210 and 240 kg. They are available now. These are the HO robots, for example KR150 HO is the 150 kg version of this family.

The KRC2sr control racks for the small robots and KRC2 for the other robots in the range are respectively rackable in a standard cabinet and declined in stainless steel. Like all KUKA robots, they are controlled by a PC-based controller, equipped with the same software as the other robots in the range with a specific WOP Agro interface.
